Overnight 1–2 November attacks: 2 killed, 30+ wounded, outages in 10 regions
Local officials said Russian strikes over the previous day killed two and wounded at least 32; outages hit ten regions, and air defences stopped 154 of 193 overnight drones.

Regional toll
By 2 November local authorities said Russian attacks over the previous day had killed two people and wounded at least 32. In Sumy Oblast a drone hit a car, killing a 70-year-old woman and wounding two others. In Donetsk Oblast one person was killed in Sloviansk. Wounded were also reported in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr and Kyiv oblasts.
Energy
The Energy Ministry reported outages in ten regions as of the morning of 2 November: Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv. The hardest situations were in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv oblasts. Emergency cuts in Kyiv affected the metro and high-speed tram. In Odesa Oblast a DTEK energy facility was among the targets.
Overnight drone wave
From 18:00 on 1 November Russia launched 193 attack UAVs, including 75 jet-powered ones. By 08:00 on 2 November the Air Force reported 154 drones shot down or suppressed, with impacts at 26 locations and debris at nine. Launches came from Oryol, Kursk and Bryansk in Russia, occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
Why it matters
Mass night drones plus hits on power distribution leave big cities without light and water even before daytime waves — that pressure defines rear-area winter resilience.
